Privacy policy

SimpleTrack AI is operated by Optimized Health, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information

Your email address and first name when you create an account.

Health and nutrition information you enter

Weight, goal weight, meals and foods, water intake, daily check-ins including sleep quality, stress, and energy, menopause status, dietary preferences, and goals.

Photos and voice recordings

Photos and voice recordings you choose to submit for food logging. We process these to identify foods and portions. We do not use them for anything else.

Coach messages

Messages you send to the in-app coach.

Purchase information

Subscription status and purchase history, processed by Apple and our subscription partner RevenueCat. We never see your payment card details.

Technical identifiers

Identifiers needed to operate the service, such as a user ID.

How we use your information

We use this information to run SimpleTrack AI: calculating your daily calorie range, logging food, powering the coach, keeping your data in sync, and providing support.

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

AI processing

Some features send data to AI service providers in order to work: food and menu photos, voice recordings for transcription, and coach conversations. These providers process the data only to return results for you inside the app.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the app, such as cloud hosting, subscription management, AI processing, and food databases, and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law. If our company is ever acquired or merged, your data would remain protected under a policy at least as protective as this one.

Retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time inside the app, or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your rights

You can view and edit your information in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Email us to exercise these rights.

Age

SimpleTrack AI is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the update here and revise the effective date.
